Salient features

 

Sone Canal System is one of the oldest canal systems in the country. It is in operation since 1874.

The Jainagra H.E  Project envisages to utilize the existing fall of 4.45 meter on Buxar Branch Canal of Sone Canal System of 3.2 Km. of Buxar Branch Canal for generation of Hydro Electric Power.
